3. Miracle
Nothing will lift your spirits like a good underdog story, and there are none better than that of "Miracle". Based on the medal-round hockey match of the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics, this Disney picture tells the tale of the United States’ national hockey team, a ragtag group of college kids who defeated the Soviet Union hockey team in a historic upset. The story is widely regarded as one of the greatest sports stories in history, which makes its silver-screen retelling a guaranteed morale booster.

Disney may not have written the original story of "Aladdin", but its animated adaptation has become immensely popular and beloved nonetheless. With a hilarious voice acting performance from Robin Williams and some Oscar-worthy music, "Aladdin" remains one of Disney’s finest films.

Even 20 years after its release, "The Lion King" still remains as synonymous with the Disney brand as Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck. This animated classic is capable of making any audience laugh, cry and sing along.
